اريد ان استفسر عن مصطلحين : babiniski
و
clonus
واريد معرفة كل شيء عنهم واهم اشي كيفية اداء فحصهم للمريض ......... ضروري جدا

babinskis sign:
is present in upper motor neuron lesion,
To test it,:
scratch the outer border of the foot beginning from outer lateral part on sole of foot,and carrying upto the head of metatarsals,and then scratch somewhat transversely from lateral to medial side of toes.
Positive sign:
When there will be dorsiflexion of great toe and faning (separation) of all remaining toes.
Clonus:
It is also present in UMN lesion,
Procedure:
For ankle joint,hold the ankle,and rapidly dorsiflex the ankle joint repeatedly,
Positive:
When u wil see ankle joint showing rapid ,alternating involuntary movement ,and atleast three to four movements must be present to diagnose Clonus..

ان babiniski used as treatment(1)
as in facilitation to dorsi flexores at UMNL
clonus for ankle and wrist joints
